We are saved by grace through faith. It is all about what Jesus did on the cross and not of our own works. Jesus gives us His Spirit through faith alone and He begins the work in us as surrendered souls, freeing us from sin. It is all Him!

Churches that suggest we must turn up to church or perhaps we are not saved are adding works to the gospel. Same goes for any church ritual or tradition. These may be edifying and even important in our faith but they do not save us.

Last year I was deceived by a counterfeit religious spirit into keeping the sabbath among other things. It was a snare by the devil to get me under the law (the yoke of bondage) but thankfully the Holy Spirit opened my eyes. It was imperative that I came out of all agreement with it and repented.

Be very careful of "Christian" religions that preach works-based salvation or any keeping of the old covenant law. it is basically saying that Jesus' suffering on the cross was not enough to save us. The greatest act of love in the history of the world.

The bible is full of instruction but it is for our sanctification. We are justified by the blood of Jesus Christ alone. No one other than Jesus came to deal with humanity’s sin problem. That is why all self-justifying religions are false. Basically all religions that do not preach the true gospel of grace.

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

“How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” Hebrews 9:14
