Designer labels on all our clothes,
Hypnotising TV shows,
Houses, cars, exotic vacations,
Manifesting affirmations,

Clinging on to fading youth.
Does no one care about the truth?
What of our eternal soul
If attaining stuff is the only goal?

“Hell is real”, there I said it
But look away, you never read it.
Blah blah blah, don’t want to know
Switch on another TV show.

But hear me out, I have good news,
We can be saved if we choose.
A future of joy, peace and love,
Sealed by God for heaven above.

Jesus is real, the story is true,
He died for our sins so He can save you!
To be forgiven is to be set free.
Say “yes” to Jesus and you will see.

Believe in Him, follow His ways
And He will set your heart ablaze.
Fears of death will cease to exist
And your life before will not be missed.

The things of this world will soon be no more,
Can’t take it with us through heaven’s door.
Our soul is all we truly own
By grace our faith will lead us home.
